I read Decomposable Negation Normal Form on the exercise bike at the gym today. I'm going to have to spend more time on the math to regain the understanding I had of it in 2003. I had forgotten that the "smoothness" property was an additional constraint on DNNF and not part of the core definition.
I don't know when I'll get back to this paper. I don't have a particular use for it right now. I'm much more interested in exploring frequency domain of images.
